A space fantasy setting about high technology and high magic

This setting was mostly started out of a deep set desire to fight back against my recent near-total mental sludge situation. My brain has all but completely lost the ability to generate writing inspiration for various reasons, to the point that my idea output essentially crashed to zero.

I still could generate ideas for art pieces and such, but not for writing, nor could I get myself to actually write. Even short snippets bring about endless frustration as I just can't seem to figure out WHAT to write.

But I genuinely enjoy writing! I missed coming up with settings and stories and such. So, I decided that enough is enough, and started all but forcing my brain to generate a setting. Not just for my brain's sake, but also to allow me to finally get something I've been wanting to build for a while: my own sci-fi setting.

It also serves a dual purpose of giving me space to actually turn my OCs into something original, rather than taking someone else's species and settings and blending them together.
